David, they were blacktips and we also caught 1 bonnethead.
Lemon Rig:
Take a 3-way swivel and your choice of leader material. Tie on a 3 foot peice on one of the side "holes" on the swivel.( the longer the piece the deeper the bait will be)
on the end of that leader line, tie a hook.
Take another piece of leader material and tie it on the other hole. On the bottom of this line, tie on a bobber. Then tie on your main line into the top hole.
Then, when it hits the water, the bobber goes up and the bait goes down, getting you as deep as you want easily.
