Well i just up and went out for a hour before i have to go to work today, fishin was slow. The tide was high and there were too many place for my fish to hide. I fished in one spot with no luck so I moved down the river a little where I have what looked like a big sunfish or a small bass (water was almost clear enough to see but i could only tell that it was no bigger than 7 or 8 inches.) so i kept casting at it. While i was doing so i heard some ruffling behind me and didnt think anything of it. about a min later I heard something real close and was worried it might be a snake so i turned around and looked. There was a raccoon no more than a foot away from me. I turned and looked at him he looked up at me, he wasnt foaming at the mouth so i wasnt to worried but then he took a step closer to me and then i got a little worried. I ended up jumpin off the bank into a few inches of water to escape the beast.
