Pineluretom, thanks for the mail. Will you let me know what your agenda is and where you will be staying and what sort of fishing that you intend to do. There is sea fishing depending on weather, river fishing for salmon, trout fishing for rainbows and wild brownies, and pike fishing. If you google nwrfb.ie, swrfb.ie and wfb.ie you will get a lot of info from there. North Western Regional Fisheries Board is the local board in my area. I do some fishing in the spring for salmon on the river Moy. But the deal is, that thanks to conservation you can only take one spring fish up to the 12th of May. There after you can take three fish per day and a total of ten for the season. You can catch as many as you want, so long as you release them after you reach your quota. That doesn't apply to rainbow trout in some fisheries in Donegal where I also fish. Anyway feel free to contact me for anything else. If you want to, send me a private message.
