Mother Nature puts out many signs - I've heard from oldtimers(me included now) and found to be true-bass spawn when the wild dogwood produce the white or pink flowers(give or take a month either way depending on temperature) also my best indication of American Shad in the river, is the blooming of the Magnolia-many believe a full moon is involved but from many years of fishing found that the new moon has the same influences-OK I give up-I don't know!!!
