Just read in the Pennsylvania News that Mike Colegrove (aka PABassMan) was murdered! He was an active contributor to this site and he will be missed.

I cant believe something like this has happened!! I have enjoyed reading Mikes post in the past and will certainly miss his informative comments and willingness to share fishing experiences with the rest of us. He will surely be missed on this board! My prayers go out to his family and friends. May he and his family rest in peace!

Hard to believe...Sad and shocking to hear. He and his family will be missed. A terrible, terrible tragedy for sure. Hope you are in a better place Mike. Rest in Peace.

What a awful horible tragedy, I can't believe that Mike and his family have been slaughtered in thier own home. God almighty knows what sick depraved human being would do such a thing. I am just lost for words, tears fill my eyes as I write this. What a loss, what a loss not only to his local community, family and friends, but to our site community to. Mike sent me emails and messages which I found very helpful and enjoyable, I will truly miss him, I am just so shocked. I am willing to contribute to any memorial to Mike through this site. My sincere heartfelt thoughts go out to relations and friends of Mike his wife and son. sorry I have to go can't write now

HOLY SH*T i saw that on the news while i was on vacation i was like damn he looks familiar wow that sucks any news on the suspects anything all I saw was that there was a suspicious pick up seen in the area

Ok, I finally have decided to post something about this?

I have been apprehensive about the whole thing. I was in shock just like the rest of you have been!

This is obviously a families worst nightmare. I sure wouldn't want this to happen to anybody, but we know he is in a better place now!

It just sucks that this happened to such a nice guy. He loved to fish and share his stories with everybody.

If you think about it, most of us are members of many different fishing boards, and so was pabassman. There are posts all over saying how awe full this tragedy was. If you guys are members on some different boards like I am, make sure you tell them how you feel about this!

This has affected a lot of fisherman that knew him personally and just online. We need to take a second and think about what just happened here. But don't think about it too hard because there was really nothing anybody could do about it.

Now, for the hard part. I need some member responses here. Wow, this is tough. Anyway, should I remove his profile or keep it a part of the board?

I cannot make this decision alone, I tried, I just can't. Let me know what you guys think about this! Thanks and put the colgroves in your prayers.

Please keep Mike profile on here - he would have wanted that and that way he is still here with us in spirit.

I knew Mike for over a year and he was always nice, never a harsh word about anything. He is missed.

I have just been to upset to think about coming back on line to the site to discuss Mike, Alias PABassman. Ya see even that name cunjours up some kind of happiness with me of an old friend. I agree, please keep Mikes posts for the site with a memorial to him and his valuable contributions which he paid to us all. RIP PABassman. I hope and pray that you have gone ahead of us all to get a good fishing spot Mike. See you there one day Buddy.
