I don't know about an ultra lite againts a king? You might run into probs like not enough line, or screaming reel. It def would be fun to try!!!

I actually have never used the reel, but I would assume that the millionare would be a good bass reel. How many bearings, and what is the stop like on the reel? As long as it reels fast enough for bass, you should be fine.

I haven't used this reel my self i talked with a guy i know that has the cv or cr (i this its cv-x)model he said he liked it. I just looked up the specs on the reel and i dont like the S model with only 2+1 bbs. They have the same ratio and line capacity but something about it being half the price and having a third the ball bearings would scare me off. but let me know what you think of it when u field test it

hey i just got to finally use it this weekend on the delta. caugt a 50lb sturgeon with it while casting for stripers. the reel handeled it perfectly. the $350 really payed off. i also have 65lb red powerpro on the spool so that really helped out. i hooked countless catfish and bass also and the reel never failed me ONCE. i have it put on a 6'9" ugly stick tiger casting rod and boy did it set the hook great. everytime i would set the hook the anti-reverse would work perfectly and the line wouldnt even dig in thanks to the ugly. lol. well, the retrieve was UNBELIEVEABLE and rivals that of my daiwa viento. so far, this is the best casting reel i have used. if i had the money, i would buy another, but for now, im saving up for an avet.

    last words on the reel:

take it this way, this is the rod/reel setup i would go to for ANY situation. from pike and walley to tuna and bottomfish to trout and bass. it does everything
