PC Baits Coffee Worms came through again. For those who do not know, I had PC Baits pour me a bunch of worms in a custom color - Dark Roast Coffee Bean. They look great and since I received them I have been nailing large bass with them.

Fished the DE River all morning and had a blast catching nice (13-16") SM Bass. We saw lots of SM Bass all morning and caught most with 4" Senko Style Baits. Waded out and explored an island and found bass surrounding us. We did not surrender but "caught" our way back. All told we had about 14 Smallies between the two of us.

Hit a small pond this afternoon, and caught dinks until I switched to the Coffee Worm - First cast:

3lbs 8 oz. - not to shabby!

this coffee worm u speak of what type of worm is it. Is it the 4' sinko-like bait?

They are a 5" Senko type worm - the cool part is the color, I real dark brown with a hint of red / purple and gun metal flake, it is perfect! The worms are super soft as well, which really helps with the action.

I was using 4" Green Watermelon Sunami Worms (4" medium heavy soft plastic action stick worm) for the small mouth bass in the River.

Nice bass! Is that some blood on its tail? Are they still spawning up there?

They are just starting to spawn in most lakes./ This lake was pretty far south of my usual fihing areas and was the first lake to ice out, so I would venture a guess that the small bass are post - spawn and the big girls are pre-spawn.

This very cold then suddenly very warm spring has got everything screwy

I do not usually Carolina Rig them, if I am fishing flowing water or deeper water I just use a bullet weight to the worm end. Most of the time I fish them weightless and T-Rigged.

ok I've never had any luck texas riggin stick worms ill have to give that a try. Just wondering have u tried using spike it on this worm it looks like it would be a great addition to it

I do not use spike it. I have had luck with Yum Dingers withe Chart tails, but not any better then without. Most of the worms I use do have a scent, such as the yum. Anise scent seems to be super good.
