I always have the most luck fishing the wind beaten side of a lake! Islands on a lake are a big plus also! Fish deep water, middle of the lake only when you have to! Find submerged structure and work that, only if it's under about 8 feet of water though! Hope this helps!

Everything helps.....Where i live we have to lakes that border the county i love on, it's a fisherman's paradise. Lately i have been catching all the fish on their usual postspawn spots, but i've also had quite a bit of luck flipping jigs onto offshore structure. The crankbait bite is really starting up also!

Down here this time of the year we start fishing deeper with big worms and crankbaits. Usually fish are holding to offshore structure/cover. Sunny days they hold tight, cloudy days they scatter a little more.

This time last year i was using crankbaits and catching 30+ bass an afternoon with 20+ visibility. But, with all the rain and flooding we have been having down here, the water is brown as mud and the only thing i have had a little luck on is wieghtless brown senkos.

Big Bass are now post spawn here so fishing can be tough. Slow and low has been working well. I have been finding all the big LM Bass holding super tight to structure, a rock, a log or even small weed piles.

You have to get your bait right in there and "hit them in the nose" they are not chasing anything.

I love the little pond five minutes from my house! I fish an X-Rap dog walker! ha ha its a huge bait but it will pull the biggest bass out from hiding thats for sure! and someone went and tossed a barrel or shopping cart/something in the center of the pond so now were pulling em out of there! ha ha its always fun with a little top water but don't forget your mosquito repellent.

Up here in a the potomac i have a few spots that are awsome during low tide but only one or two that are good for high tide. My fav two spots are both low tide spots and both have a bridge goin over a small creek. As far as catching them, well that depends on the time of day and weather condistions. but mid day i norm use small stick bait plastics rigged with jig heads, and dipped in spike-it(spike-it has to be one of the best things i have in my bag) mostly mid day fishin i use most smaller stuff. Right now its about 4 in the after noon here in a hour or so im gonna go throw some top water popRs.

Sounds like everyone's bass are holding to usual postspawn spots. I love this time of yr., If u find a couple fish, u can usually get on them for the rest of the day, & there's not alot that's more fun than throwin a Deep Diver & catchin 2 or 3 in a row. Well good luck to everyone & i hope ya'll get out soon to fish.
