this one may spark alot of debate ....

but here it goes ....

If you plan to eat fish .... only harvest what you will eat ... and of legal size ... what I like to do is a selective harvest
I keep the dinks .... Lm Bass from 12 inches up to about 15 ..... anything over 15 inches I throw back .... this selective harvest will ensure that Ponds and or waters you fish the population will be in checked .... and it allows the Larger Breeder fish to pass on those Genes .... which will eventually help the Population ....

It allows for bigger fish to be there for future generations ....
