Cleaning your Lures : a useful tip that wont harm them at all
It happens to everyone .... Ever open your tacklebox only to find that your lures have a what looks like a White Mold on them .... This happens when tackle picks up moisture ... be it from Rain or if they were stored where its damp .... heck sometimes it will happen stored in a vehicle .... You can get rid of this moldy residue by hanging them on the top rack of a Dishwasher ..... and running them throu a regular washing cycle Sometimes it will leave a very light coating of soap left on the baits after they have dried but this will wipe right off .... ** Important Note ** - don't do this when the wife is home , she might not understand ...... unless of course she fishes too .... so wash your wifes lures too ..... She will then understand .... and think more of you too .... mike |

Crikey I never thought of that, stick em in the dishwasher. Trouble is I might get a swift kick in the knackers for doing that, great idea but I reckon Ill just stick to hand scrubbing them in a bucket of soapy water ( takes more time but doesnt hurt ).
Cheers James
