Im getting a New Spinning Reel for my Birthday

But havent decided yet what kind ?

I want to get a Very Good Reel this time .... My Parents are buying me the reel ( arent parents Great !!!) .... I can pick out the Reel .... but want to keep it in under $150 if I can ....


With all these new reels on the market .... I dont know which one is the best for your money ????

Any ideas ???

I have looked at several .... the 2 I like the most are a Quantum Energy PTi and a Pflueger Supreme ....

hoping maybe some of you can give me ideas of what to look for .... and what you didnt like about some reels .....

Spinning reel wise, I love the energy PTi. Dont own one, but a friend of mine does and it is just the smoothest thing ever.
