On the hot 100+ degree summer days, I LOVE fishing deep diving crankbaits smack dab in the middle of the day, around 1 PM.

I fish mainly the Rivers and Puget Sound so my preference is bloody early in the morning. I was up at 4:00am today and will probably be up at 3:30 on Tuesday morning.

The things I do for fish.

I am with you on that - nothing like getting out there before the crowds!

LOL... We were up at 4 and in our spot on the water by 6:00 and we were in a crowd of boats. Too many guys trying to land a Chinook before the shut off fishing for them.

Oh well, at least we caught some fish. Not everyone was.

I like to fish all day but if I have to choose it would be morning and evening. But bluegills bite the best during the day and in the morn.
