Stickfighter vs. Trout - Memorial Day 2007

After spending the weekend fishing with friends I decided to take the Stickfighter (that's what we like to call our grandson) out to find some trout to fight. Grabbed his fighting stick and took him out for some trolling.

Here he is trolling for the first time. I think he liked it.


After hitting all the points and the dam with no hits we decided to soak some bait on the West shore. Using the "Chunky Cheese" of course.


It wasn't long before Stickfighter was hooked up, but he farmed it due to the fish swimming into the weeds. It didn't seem to phase the Stickfighter though. All baited up again with the hot bait, he happily played while waiting for the next bite.


Stickfighter is always smiling and happy whether catching or farming.

Then it happened just before time to leave - Hook up!
Fish was a whopping 2#.
