City of Redondo with my Daughter - 9/28/08

We had to get up pretty early to get down to the landing for a 6:30 AM departure.

Got on the boat with a luxuriously light load, probably only 10-12 passengers. Heavy fog, and no live bait today. Bummer, cause the bass have been eating the anchovies real well lately and was really hoping to do some bass fishing.

With only frozen squid, not much choice but to go deeper and try for rock fish.





Fishing was pretty slow, but we got a few, and I think my daughter had a pretty decent time. The fog meant no horizon, and in spite of the Bonine the night before, she got sick. She still said she had fun. Good thing its a short trip... And of course we had to stop at the frozen yogurt shop on the way home...
