Yeah - We've been there. Some like it, some don't. I'm in the don't catagory. Corona Lake, owned by the same company is a better place to fish. That's where I caught the big trout in my picture. I assume you are looking to catch catfish, cause that is mostly what SARL plants this time of year. Irvine lake might be a better place to go. Fridays and Saturdays you get 20 hours of fishing for $20. The blue catfish are on fire right now. This is the one my husband caught last weekend.
![]() Everyone on the boat caught one this size or larger.... except me ... well, I did catch a nice eating size flathead. Pretty good for the hour of fishing I put in for it. ![]() I think if I stopped entertaining the fish and granting them final requests.
