Default Friday surf Loking with the Family,..

Got off work early so i made the best of it, called up the wife and told her to get the kids ready to hit the beach, then i heard it was gonna be cold so we dumped the twins off with a babysitter! im sorry, but what a relief! i love my babies but twins are such a handful, the oldest was so happy to get out to the beach for some swimming and fishing, my sister also wanted to go so we took her too,..
got down to the beach late, 5pm, women,..not that bad, waves werent too big and not that much salad in the water, rigged up the lines and started to make bait, got some nice soft shells with roe! sweet! put them on the hooks, tossed it out and handed the rods to the ladies,..i went back to making bait, i could tell the water and weather were just right and the fish should be biting, sure enough, not even 5 minutes pass, my sis goes beando! she pulls in her first (now i got to be PC about this) Undocumented immigrant!!! not big, but not small,..pretty much after that everyone was catching undocumented immigrants, all CPR of course,..
even my little girl was slaying the fish, you know the season has changed when you catch alot of beans and not so many perch, some slabs were caught, but didnt snap a pic of them, i was running back and forth, putting bait on the hooks and digging some more up, also i had to keep my little girl out of trouble,..it was WO but no big ones, too bad, i got to only catch one, thats when my wife took the deliah to the potty, pulled it in right when she got back, so it was cool to have my girls cheer for me, better than having Ron do it,..lol,..
well, like i promised before i tone down the jokes alot, but i got something coming soon, i hope you guys have a good weekend and please take a kid fishing, they'll never forget it and you wont either,..

Great report Lokey. Guess the surf fishing has turned on with the soft shells showing up. Delilah sure is cute with that bean. That last picture is really funny. Looks like the fish has a hold of that girl's nose. Who is that - your sister-in-law?

What type of drum fish are you catching? They look like Atlantic croakers but I am sure that they are not - but related

Those fish closely resemble the gulf whiting. Ours are normally smaller though, and are used for shark bait.

Corbina taste really good, but I guess it's not a good idea. Like croaker they are mini chemical storage facilities. I stiill eat one everyonce in a while. Might explain why I can see in the dark so well.

Nothing like some smiling kids! And to them, it really doesn't matter how big the fish is, as much as "I caught this!"
