Default Hoop Loking,..

yup, Augie, Ron and the Lokster did a little hooping last night, we got out to the spot before sundown and dropped only 3 nets, thats all we have,...lol,..had some buddies out there as well hooping, Augie and Ron were in the little buttchaser while i was in the tube doing a trial run to see how it would be pulling nets from it, it was all good, what i would recommend is pulling just the new eclipse nets, had a little trouble with the other ones, but it all worked out, didnt even have to remove the bar to pull the net, other than the slack that got in the way it was a cool azz night of hoopin, it was very slow, just sculpin, octys and rock crabs were interested in biting, only three legals got pulled up, things got a little crazy when the sea lions came over to dine on our nets, lol,..well i started to shyt it, i had to get out of there until they were done,..thats when we had to start hooping with catfish, cause someone grabbed the wrong bag from his fridge,..hey, it was a good night of laughs wish we had some brews, but we got all season to play like this, hope you all like the pics, expect more to come from the hoopin Hookers,..

oh, before we had our night of hoopin, i had a day with the little girl to put her on some fish, we had some fun catching perch together, shes getting better every time we fish, this time all i had to do was bait her line, she tossed it out and waitied until she got hooked up, i was so happy to see this little angler grow up before my eyes, and i'll be a man about it, i teared up a little, just thinking that im putting this girl on the right path and that some day she'll be a doctor or a teacher and what helped her out was me getting her out to catch some fish and appreciate life,..hope you all like the pics, peace,..

a serious angler,..

I wonder what you could bait the hoop nets with that the seals wouldn't like? Sounds like you guys did ok. I was surprised how good eating the local lobster are... I'm not a huge lobster fan anyway, I always liked crab better. But I thought the local ones tasted a lot better than the Maine lobsters I've had... not as much of that white fatty stuff in them. Do you suppose that's just a symptom of whatever junk they feed the lobsters while they're sitting in a tank in a store waiting to get bought...?
