Yep, if your interested in catching some carp! I have a killer recipe for you! Ok, here it goes! Red Pop (just a splash) Vanilla (almost half a bottle, the little bottle) Wheaties (half a bag) You'll get the mixture down once you start making it! Be prepared for hard fast hits from carp on this one! Fishing Poles lost to date by me = 3 Almost losing my fishing pole = countless times Have fun with it!

I put Strawberry/Banana Jello in chicken liver and let it stand overnight.
Here is one I got from a friend of mine. 1 pint whole milk 1/2 tbsp. garlic salt cornmeal 4 ounces limburger cheese 1/4 cup ground chicken livers Bring milk and salt to a boil over medium heat. Add cheese and chicken liver. Reduce to low. Add enough cornmeal to where the bait thickens up and remove heat. To thicken add more cornmeal. To thin add a little milk or put in a warm place. |

I use raw shrimp in the shell - cover with kosher salt and molasses and keep stored in the freezer. The idea behind this is that the big channel cats feed on crayfish (which also work great) so that the shrimp in the shell is a close approximation of a crayfish - with some added scent.
