    Angry Looking for Channels

    Fished Lake Galena (again) last night looking for the elusive monster channel cats. My buddy hooked and lost a monster the night before and we were seeking revenge! We were completely frustrated with only one cat caught and a few small run offs the entire night. Theories abounded as to why one night they would bite and the next night - almost nothing.

    We used white perch, yellow perch, crayfish and cut sunfish for bait - this is what we hook the big cats with but not last night. After fishing from 7 pm to midnight we finally called it a night (they probably turned on at 12:30)

    might not be this year ... theres a chance I can ... but its slim ... next year thou ....

    I never have any luck with white perch as bait for whatever reason i think the cats around here like bluegils more
