The lakes have been low but I found a few spots to land flathead.
![]() The fish this year have not been the size of fish we got last year. ![]() I have several 40+ flathead but have really been looking for a 60. ![]() I am hoping the low water is all that is holding me back ![]() Maybe some rain from hurricanes will raise the lakes and cool the water. ![]() That might spur the bigger fish to feed more.

Yes I am still using bluegills and Kahles
![]() Normally the water gets warm and bluegills die easily and I switch to goldfish. This year the gills have done well. ![]() I have released these fish hoping they will provide future generations of big fish. Maybe even grow some and bite for me again. Video of a release

Hey I know you lol as always nice catches man I wish we had them out here just once I would love to hook one. Guess I have to settle for the monster sturgeon and kings up to 50 pounds.
