Default Reef Fishing

Me and my Girl like using light tackle over shallow reef for wrasse , HumuHumu Omilu and Papio I have been using my 16ft pole with 2lb line and a 16 limerick hook any one else shore casting on the big Island? I mainly go Mahukona or right from seawall.

2Lb line, geez that wouldnt even handle our baby fish around here. LOL.

Heres a picture of a MU i caught last night ...I dont know what they are called in engrish . . . he weighed 3.5lbs caught on 2lb line with a 1o hook and squid bait...

2# test on a shallow reef? You gotta be quick on the hook set to get anything out of there. That must be fun...!
