went out last night with my fishing club to clean up a spillway, got 24 bags of garbage, then did a little fishing on Big Creek, I didn't get a thing (not unsual on that lake) but my buddy was nailing the gills on the fly.

Bloody grubby people that litter are a pet hate of mine. At Lake Lenthall I spend a good part of my week just picking up bait bags, bottles & wrappers mostly but the one thing that really gets on my nerves is the amount of discarded fishing line left on the bank. We have had two Pelicans with line wrapped around thier wings in the last couple of months, that makes me so angry because it only happened through anglers sheer lazyness & lack of respect for the fishery ad the environment.
Enough ranting anyways. Cheers James

You can do somthin about the rubbish nirrad, if it is a fishery which has someone there to welcome people and take their cash etc. Then ask them politely if it would be ok if they showed you what they were taking down to the water in their bags etc. If its in their bag and they leave it on the bank, then its simple they don't get back to fish and their banned. Did it on a salmon fishery, wasn't popular but it stopped inconsiderate anglers from spoiling the locality.
