Monday the glorious 1st of February is here again, yeeeha! Here we go for the first cast of the season. Monday will see me out on the river again with all the anticipation of throwing the flys for the kelts . Hopefully we will have a few photos for the site, and moreso hopefully in the next coming months, a fresh wild Atlantic Salmon. So tomorrow will be dustin down the rod, cleaning the fly line and oiling the reel, a new selection of flies and after my daughter is deposited at school its on to the river! Look out for an update on monday evening, when i will have spent the day with my son fishing for the kelts and who knows maybe, just maybe a fresh fish.

I am going fishing tomorrow for the first time in a long long time now that the house is mostly done how we want I get to play. Now that the weather is nice finaly for a few days I am going for it. Then monday its back to rain rain rain for the next 10 days again.

Hey i hope your fishing trip was good Mutt, i know you have not been out for a while and i hope you caught loads o fish. Don't forget the photo's hey, lets have a look at where ya fish Mutt, im taking my mini video recorder tomorrow so here's hoping and fingers crossed. All the gears at the door ready, got the licenses and relavant documentation and my son has confirmed he can make it. Looks like we have decided to fish two eastury systems as a few trout have been seen there in recent days. Honestly im over fifty and ya know what, the excitement is like christmas when you were a kid and ya couldn't sleep for what lay in store on the that special day. Well tomorrows my / our big day,

Well we went for cats and stripers well got a couple of bites was all then a guy floating along in his boat asked if I could tow him in said sure 7 miles I had to tow him back to the dock and well I lost a fuel pump 20 yards from the dock lol was a interesting day no fish and a broken boat. I will post a pic or two in a while after I get them off the camera. Sure hope your day is better then mine.
