Anyone wishing to get any information on fishing in ireland please feel free to contact me. Maybe a vacation, holiday, or short visit, then let me know, and i will try and get some information for you.
Ireland has numerous fishing openings, salt water from boats and rocks, flyfishing for rainbows and wild brown trout, bait fishing for wild Atlantic Salmon. Pike fishing and much much more. The craic is good to, hospitality second to non and the unspoilt countryside. |

Hi Slim, Yeah they got sea bass here that you can catch from the rocks. Very very aggressive fish and hard fighting as well. Usually caught on small jellyworms, deadbaits like mackerel. But they go mad for live shrimp and prawns. Gonna put a couple of shots on the photo gallery, but no bass sorry. Salmon 15 and a half pounds, and a pollack around eight pounds. My little girl ate most of them.

Hi David they do have really big Tuna off the north west coast of Donegal, pretty rare occurance though. I think the record is around 5 to 6 hundred pounds. No photos of tuna though, just a few i will put up on the photo gallery of a Fifteen and a half pound Atlantic Salmon, and a pollack of about eight.
