I would like to share with the site, now that i have managed to import photos. (Thanks To TexasBasser) A fresh run Atlantic Salmon and the fly which it fell to last Tuesday. Yep I been trying that long to upload it. I caught the fish on my local river The Owenmore Bangor Co Mayo, It was nine and a half pound, and I was using a six weight line on a Diawa Whisker eleven foot Seatrout Rod. It Took me around fifteen minutes to subdue the fish to the shallows, where i lifted it by the tail to the bank. (I never use a net, it gives the fish a fighting chance of escape) The Purple Flash Shrimp Fly takes on a bright appearance in clear and brackish water.
