    Default Connemara Camping

Well the weekend just gone saw us all taking off for the seaside, and wild Atlantic Coast camping. Although we live by the sea ourselves we decided to stay on a friends campsite down the coast in beautiful Connemara. This area of Ireland, and I don't think my photos do it the justice it deserves. Is quite beautiful, outstanding and idillic in its location and surroundings. The campsite is located on the southside of Killary Fjord, Irelands only Fjord which is approximately 20kilometers long. (GOOGLE KILLARY) to have a look. Here are some of the snaps anyway. First one is on the way. The second photot shows how close we are to the beach and the sounds of the waves as we fell asleep in the evenings. The last photo here is Killary Fjord which is dominated with salmon farms. Long stretches of nets and traps hold the fish in this tidal inlet. A link to the campsite would be campingireland.ie looking for Connemara Camping Lettergesh Renvyle. Well happy viewing folks. Gud Luk.
