That depends on how it is prepared. If it is fried, it is going to have a much higher caloric content than when it is grilled, broiled or baked.

It depends entirely on how big it is and how you cook it...If you look at a 100g (4oz) fillet of sea bass cooked with a dry heat (such as baked), it contains the following:Calories 125 (523 kJ) Calories from Carbohydrate 1.0 (4.2 kJ) Calories from Fat 23.3 (97.6 kJ) Calories from Protein 102 (427 kJ)While the fat content looks high, don't forget it's 'good' fat - this fillet of bass will contain: Total Omega-3 fatty acids 867 mg Total Omega-6 fatty acids 31.3 mg In addition, this will contain:4% of your recommended daily allowance (RDA) of vitamin A9% of your RDA of thiamin9% of your RDA of riboflavin23% of your RDA of vitamin B69% of your RDA of pantothenic acidSo all told, it's good for you.Check out a few sea bass recipes on my blog if you like - Barbequed sea bass with fennel mayonnaise: http://superfood.blog-city.com/another_barbeque_another_sea_bass.htmSea bass with ginger and spring onions:http://superfood.blog-city.com/another_sea_bass_recipe__with_ginger_and_spring_on ions.htmSea bass with fennel and potatoes:http://superfood.blog-city.com/sea_bass_with_fennel_and_pink_fir_apples.htmNutrit ional data from Nutrition Data:
