Worms? Trout bait? Go to a local outdoors store and check out their bait, ask them for good bait advice too. Good luck! Hope you catch a whopper lol!

Live bait works best with trout and bass. Your more likely to catch trout and bass with live minnows. Catfish - I cut up some panty hose and put chicken liver. It holds the chicken liver on your hook so it doesnt droop off. Go with the minnows, youll have a better time.

One bait that would work for all of those species is night crawlers. If you want to bring more species specific things for the lake....I'd bring some shad raps for bass and a few spinner baits,a few mepps or panther martin spinners for the trout (unless you want to fly fish for em)and some fresh cut sucker minnows for the cats.

if your going to use live bait,i would get some large shiners or shad.it will work on all the fish you listed.now if your going to use artificial bait try a rat-l-trap,white spinner bait, these lures work any where there is bass.good luck, and long live the fisherman!

Nightcrawlers are the "catch-all". Catfish give you the most options. Hotdogs, bologna, worms, anything that carries a scent will attract them. Bass are more likely to hit a nightcrawler but prefer something that looks alive. Trout will hit nightcrawlers, meal worms, corn, marshmallows.

well if u want to catch fish, u should chose one because the baits are different for the fish, also the hook size as well as the set up on ur pole! we have luck catching trout on yellow powerbait, nightcrawlers with minimarshmellow on top so as let the nightcrawler float! good luck, oh yeah i heard that some people were actually catching catfish with canned catfood, don't know how true that is, never tried it! my son uses those salted plastic crawdads for bass!

You should use soft plastics or small lures. When using jigs (soft plastics) You cast it in and let it sink and wind it up and then let it sink again contiuously do it.
