Emerald Isle NC Temps Cold...
.....But the puppy drum bite was HOT!!!
A buddy and I went fishing near the point in Emerald Isle and nailed the puppy drum. We caught and released over 60 fish in a couple hours.  I had a double hook bottom rig and had four DOUBLE HOOKUPS. We were using pretty light tackle too. It was awesome. Cold but fun as heck.
