Default AZ Fishing?

I am going to Arizona soon and was wondering if anyone knows a spot near Phoenix to go where I dont need a boat.

There is a good number of nice lakes here in AZ. Where abouts are you staying? If I know where you're at, I can tell you exactly where you need to go for the best shore fishing. Hopefully I caught you before your trip?

There is also a lake close to nogales, but that would be a haul and a half. Just get on google earth or mapquest to find some lakes, then look and see if there are any people fishing them. Just do a google search, you'll find what you are looking for!

Saguaro Lake is not doing very good right now due to a deadly algae bloom. I would suggest Canyon Lake instead. It is only 20 mins further down the road. Eithere there or Bartlett lake in North Scottsdale. Both lakes are always doing well for bass and catfish.
