Default Riverhill fly report 6-1-07

Went fly fishing this evening for an hour or so, caught these fish. I was using a white streamer on a 4 wt fly rod at the same small pond as yesterday... the big lake hasnt produced anything yet. Wierd since last summer this time i was catching 5+ pounders consistently. This flooding sure messed it up I had 3 other bass bigger than these on, but i couldnt seem to stick them today. Also saw a snake hole near my "secret" spot that i discovered a few weeks back, and upon looking in i see the head of a cottonmouth I soon caught this perch and stuck it inside, and it started eating it! Got to be careful around here, turn your back and theres a snake.

snake hole and fish being eaten
