Default Small Stream - Big Bass

Fished the spillway stream behind Lake Galena for a few hours yesterday afternoon. The bite was real slow but I found a nice fat LM Bass holding at teh mouth of a feeder creek. I was really surprised that this fatty was in such skinny water (less then a foot deep).

Magic bait was a Case Jacks Worms in Green Pumpkin Seed.

My buddy tied on the Jacks worm and nailed a little guy on his first cast!

Charlie Case makes some great stuff. I use his Jacks Worms and Big Jacks Worms all the time. Also good are the snakes and Craw baits

They should sell them in your local tackle shops in VA.

Oh yeah, I usually T-Rig them weightless. If there is heavy current, depth of more then 10 feet or wind, I will use a bullet weight.

The Curly Craw I use on a shakey head or plain jig head
