Stopped by the East Branch of the Perkiomen Creek yesterday to see about the big SM Bass that I have been spotting there. It is so damn frustrating, you can see the bass, but they are completely not interested in feeding. Mostly they are either holed up basking in the sun or slowly cruising the middle of the stream. They do not even spook when you cast at them, they just sit there and ignore everything.
Yesterday, I did manage four, only one of any size. Hot bait was a Jacks Worm in green watermelon color. ![]() |
