Default do i got a doozy for you!

heres a pic of a trout i caught last summer at San Pablo Reservoir in California.

tell me that isnt a good fish?

heres the story behind this baby:

LITERALLY- i forgot to reel in one of the rods as we were making our way back to the dock, i had NO BAIT on the hook. it had just come off from a lost fish and somehow, the gold treble hook attracted this behemoth. it barely got time to raise off the bottom before, WHAM! the fish bit it and pulled my rod in the water. i grabbed it before it sank 30 feet and was able to reel her in. at the last second the line snapped. Fishermans instinct lept in... i jumped in the water... with my cell phone (that i literally got that day)... and all my clothes. i grabbed the fish and wouldnt let go. i threw it onto the boat and jumped on and grabbed the fish again. my dad applauded my efforts, but also scolded me for breaking my $300 samsung phone. lol. MORE THAN WORTH THE EXPIERENCE. Believe me, i never let fish get away anymore. this was lucky. i do admit though, i became a succer and now the fish is on its way to being mounted on my wall (along with my catfish and my salmon). im not mounting it cus of its size, but because of the story behind it and i just didnt want to destroy this fish forever in my belly. i wanted to look at it on my wall wen i was 50 and tell my wife about the day i caught that thing. so i made the "smrt" decision and spent the money to get it mounted. Ill tell y'all how that goes and ill get some pix when i get it back

for now,

good fishing

good day

good night

thanks =D

Btw, on an off note, how do people usually respond to real taxidermy, cus ive heard that people look down upon it now with all the graphite mounts and whatnot. i personally like the idea that you have YOUR fish on the wall for the next 50 years.
