Just thought I would post this photo of my grandson, who fished with us up in Donegal a few weeks ago. This was one of quite a few fish we got that day but, yep, the batteries in the camera died for the rest of the day sorry. But you will see more trout for the fishery is opened all winter.![]() |

Hi PADavid, yeah the scenery is very nice at this fishery, that ain't the best shot now . But next time I am up I will definately spend some time getting a few nicer photo's. The fishery is very overstocked and underfished, paradise really, Feckin paradise. The fishery is called Waskel, info @ index.png You can understand why this lush green Isle, has so many admirers, and fishermen. Sometimes its just nice to go out in a small boat in the evening, and watch the fish rising as the sun sets. I do that on the river occasionally, just sit and watch the fish leap around. Call me sentimental, maybe, I just love nature, and fish. Catching a fish in Ireland is a bonus when you fish somwhere as nice as here.
