A friend sent me this picture today. He found it floating by the edge of the TN. River. I dont know much about fish but i believe this to be a paddlefish. Am i correct?

i think that is what youve got. in the south we call it a spoonbill catfish, but hes not a catfish. he is a paddlefish

this is called two different things it depends where you are from (spoonbill)or (paddlefish)

Looks like a paddlefish to me. Bet that was alot of fun to catch.

i read an article in a mag about theese. theese things are crazy. it is a paddlefish. theese things get huge

That thing looks prehistoric....!

And I thought there were some creepy looking things lurking in the ocean!!

it looks like it belongs somewhere in the ocean or mabee a powerplant pond
