Default How to keep Rust out of your Tackle Box : a member tip

keeping rust out of the tackle box :

We all know that eventually some form of rust will invade your tackle box ... here is a way to stop or at least inhibit rust from doing so ...

1) Place those little Silica Paks that come with a pair of shoes in your tackle box ... these packs will dry the moisture out of the box and keep your lures Rust free ...

if you can't get your hands on the Silica Packs you can use a fairly new product that can be found at your local sporting goods store ...

2) Its called the Inhibitor which can be found here ... http://www.theinhibitor.com/

or step 3) soak your lure in a little CLR ... this will help clean the lure ...

Anyone check out the new tackle boxes that are rust free? They are pretty cool. We keep the boat tools in one and it seems to work!
