Default Time and Money saver member tip :

When done for the day :

This tip will save you money , and headaches ....

Dont anchor your Hook , Lure or Bait to the Eye Guide .... doing so will cause excessive wear ... and eventual equipment failure .... be it a broken guide or by putting nicks in your fishing line ....

Instead Hook your lure , bait to the Hook Gaurd which is located at the base of most of your newer fishing rods
If you happen to be using an older fishing rod with no hook gaurd you can hook your lure or bait to anchor post of your reel ( if a spinning reel or spin casting reel ) if its a baitcaster .... you can hook it to the lip of the reel near where the line guide runs across the face of the reel ...
