Default Headed to San Diego

Okay ladies & gents...im headed off for a 2 day trip out of San Diego tonight...its a 6 hour drive from here to SD, so im fixin to leave. Wish me luck, the boat counts have been a roller coaster ride the past week, so who knows what will happen. I'll post pics and a report when I return Wednesday.

Follow up report. I took my video camera, so I dont have any pictures, just long MPG movies of the trip. Basically we picked up 11 fish the first day, 6 yellowtail with 1 at 27lbs, and the rest in the 15-18 lb range, and 5 dorado (mahi mahi), 2 bulls and 3 cows, biggest went 22 lbs fishing the drifting kelps pads 120 miles south/southwest of San Diego in Mexican waters. Day 2 we ended up with 3 nice Albacore (28-35 lbs) on jig strikes ( 2 on Mexican Flag Zukers, and 1 on a High Noon M16 Sumo Jet). No albies on the bait stops. Picked up 5 more yellowtail on the kelp, with 1 at 29lbs, and 4 more small dorado, and then we headed home. My big fish was a yellowtail at 19 lbs. All yellowtail and dorados caught on 4-6" sardines fly-lined with a #1 or #2 hook, and 3ft of 28lb Seaguar Fluorocarbon. Either way it was a fun trip, and if I can find a place that will host 100mb files, I'll put up some movies for everyone to see.
