Preparing for a fishing trip

After 40 years of fishing, I have published a new fishing site (www.GetReadyToFish.com) where I show how I prepare for a trip. The site is intended for beginners and those who just pick up a pole and go. It starts by identifying what you are fishing for, its environment and the equipment that is appropriate.

While the method I use has been successful whenever I have time to prepare, I would like to hear how other experienced anglers prepare. I will use some of this information to expand my website so it shows several approaches to fishing preparation.
