    Default Speckled Trout / New Member

    Hello everyone. I am new to the forum, just wanted to say hello. I live in the Topsail Island area of North Carolina. Fishing is getting slow around here, but speckled trout and puppy drum are still in the creeks off the Intracoaltal Waterway. I saw a nice one caught today at the southern end of Topsail near the New Topsail Inlet. It looked to be about 16 inches long. I am sure I will enjoy reading fishing reports from this blog.     i voted plastics becuase That is all I have ever caught them on. Of course I only fished from them for a few days in LA

    We have Weakfish here and they like everything!
