How is the crappie fishing out in this neck of the woods? Any good?
well, here in washington crappy fishing is great. I get them often while trolling for trout but target them in Kapowsin Lake. some pretty big ones there.
In the Idaho area, I don't think they even know what "Crappie" are. I lived there for 10 years and although there are quite a few places where you can catch small-mouth and a few (very few) large-mouth, I NEVER caught or even saw a Crappie and I fished just about the entire state. As a matter of fact, I don't think that Crappie are even listed in the regs.
