    Default Embarras River Illinois

    Anyone ever fish the Embarras river just south of Charleston? I plan to take my kayak down river from Charleston to Greenup (26ish mile trip) in the spring and I want to fish along the way. I have read a little about it but mostly everone catfishes on this water. I like to head out for a weekend only packing side dishes so I MUST catch fish to eat good. I havn't gone hungry yet and I plan to keep it that way.

    I still have not made the trip. The weekend weather has been a little poor here the last few weeks.
