With the budget cuts here they do not take care of the ramps anymore I havnt been out here in over a year and I cant believe how dirth the ramp is now. Maybe I can get other fishermen involved in a clean up day.


This bridge raises and lowers. They used to have some big boats come up through here but not any more so they havnt dredged in years sad too it is a neat old bridge

The water from the discharge there was warm and there were lots of small fish there guess this one found a free meal lol.

I'm dying to get out again. I haven't been since that 6-day trip in October. The halibut derby is running here right now and they've gotten a few. I'm hoping I can sneak out and give that a shot one of these days!

Hey mutt that was a COOL article, although all you done was tow someone and not catch any fish it was ok, and yes i agree you do lok like a most wanted character ok HA only joking. Hope yer able to get out again soon Mutt sure beats sittin at home man. Hey good luck.

THanks yea I will get some more going on this year just gonna be a small set back for a bit trying to get some parts for my motor. Also ordered a new internal wire harness as a lot of the wires the insulation was crubeling. Just runs to good to get rid of the old girl that motor is 43 years old now and has been a great one sooo untill they outlaw it or she dies a bad expensive death I will use it. lol You all wait there will be more and with fish even this year lol.

Work's been crazy. Not much biting right now, and rock fishing is closed.

The humbolt squid are in again... you haven't lived until you've had a 3-5 foot squid squirt you...! : ) I haven't decided if I want to try that again or not! Messy business.

Not to sure I like the sound of that lol have a sqid squirt at me lol.

Little update. Since this trip I got the fuel pump kits in and went out.
Got about 2 miles from the dock and my wires going into the trigger in the distributor broke off. Soooo I was now a towee.
Needless to say I had to pay a guy to tow me in and I was rather irked over that. But hey it beats beaching it and waiting to get ahold of someone to come and get me.
Ok tore it down then health issues again now I am all better again and started to work on it got the new trigger in (485 bucks) a buddy helping me broke the distributor cap ok nice they aare NLA (no long avalible) well after 7 weeks I found one on evil bay nib merc product now just waiting for it to get in.
Sooo maybe I will have some fish pics and stories soon.
